Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Manager based in Filton, UK. The role focuses on driving excellence in supplier quality and delivery, with frequent travel within the UK and Europe.

The position is permanent and full-time, with hybrid working and a broad package of development and wellbeing benefits. Reporting to the Lead SCQM, you will lead audits and assessments, manage supplier qualifications, and collaborate with internal and external partners to safeguard Airbus flyable product

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Supply Chain and Quality management.
• Experience in aerospace or similarly complex environments.
• Ability to build trusting, collaborative internal and external relationships.
• Enjoys fast-paced work and travel to new places and manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational interface with suppliers to ensure On-Quality, On-Time delivery.
• Monitor new product introductions, transfers and changes to ensure qualification before serial production.
• Evaluate supplier capacity, capability and performance; manage quality approvals per aerospace standards.
• Identify industrial risks; propose mitigations and drive short- and long-term improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and use advanced tools to drive supplier performance projects.
