Job summary

Airbus is recruiting a Supplier Support Manufacturing Engineer to join the Industrial Systems Support for Suppliers team at Filton. You will provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support to the Airbus supply chain, focusing on the A320/A321 programmes with potential to support others, initially on site with hybrid work later.

The role includes NPI and Transfer of Work activities, supplier capability reviews, and design-to-manufacture input for industrialisation.

Qualifications

Technical background in manufacturing engineering with aerospace focus.
Ability to assess drawings for manufacturability and tolerances.
Experience liaising with suppliers and reviewing quality issues.
Degree level in Engineering or equivalent; practical experience valued.

Responsibilities

Provide technical Manufacturing Engineering support to Aerostructure and Detail Parts suppliers across serial programmes and next-generation aircraft.
Support New Product Introduction and Transfer of Work activities within the supplier network.
Analyse supplier manufacturability and lead Supplier Industrial Reviews until handover.
Coordinate design-to-manufacture input for industrialisation and participate in root-cause analyses.
