Job summary

Draken Europe is hiring a Stores Inspector to support safe, accurate, and efficient stores operations in Northern Ireland. You will inspect, store and issue parts, manage stock records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will handle goods-inwards inspections, maintain inventories, and support dispatch and import/export activities while keeping storage areas secure and well-organised.

Qualifications

• Previous storekeeping experience, ideally within an aerospace environment.
• Experience carrying out goods-inwards inspections within the aerospace industry.
• CAA Part 145 experience.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with Draken safety standards, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Receive, inspect, locate and issue parts using the company inventory management system.
• Carry out goods-inwards inspections in line with company procedures and verify deliveries against documentation and order requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock records, transactions and part labelling.
• Control company tooling and maintain associated tooling databases.
• Manage customer-owned stock, consumables, COSHH cupboards and aircraft ground support items.
• Monitor shelf-life-controlled items and complete stocktakes as required.
• Maintain secure, clean, safe and well-organised storage areas.
• Prepare dispatch documentation and ensure goods, including dangerous goods, are packaged and labelled correctly.
• Complete import and export requirements in accordance with current HMRC legislation and company procedures.
• Support stores activity through forklift operations where required.
• Attend training at Bournemouth when required and undertake other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
