Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Worker for a six-month contract in Wolverhampton WV10. You will build aluminium, steel and Inconel heat exchangers, reading engineering drawings and maintaining tight tolerances. Rotating shifts, 37 hours per week, ASAP start.

EH&S and traceability are essential. The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience, plus proficiency with Vernier calipers, micrometres, and height gauges.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings accurately.
• Familiar with 5S principles and workplace organisation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to ensure correct fabrication.
• Shape components to fit fixtures with thin gauge material.
• Perform proof and leak tests during production.
• Maintain EH&S compliance and traceability.
