Hyde Group Ltd in Dukinfield is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy manufacturing facility. You will manufacture products for aerospace and defence clients, reading engineering drawings and following SOPs to ensure calibration and quality of parts.

The role offers a friendly environment with focus on safety and development. The position requires ability to read drawings, attention to detail and experience in high-quality manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
• Previous experience in aerospace, or another high-quality manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail; producing high quality, close tolerance components.
• Experience of key processes: rubber press, hand form, profiling parts after form, countersinking, wheeling, rolling.

Responsabilités

• Manufacture products for aerospace and defence clients, performing a full range of sheet metal operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, follow in-house routing/processes ensuring the correct calibrated equipment is used.
