Job summary

Collins Aerospace is expanding at its Wolverhampton facility and seeks skilled Fabricator/Sheet Metal Workers to join the production team. You will work on aluminium and steel assemblies, welding, and quality inspections in a regulated environment with training provided.

The role involves reading drawings, fabricating, and testing through stages, with shifts including mornings and afternoons. Onsite work in UK manufacturing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent in fabrication or engineering.
• Time served considered with relevant experience.
• Experience in aerospace, motorsport or similar is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly guidelines.
• Assemble and test productions through different stages.
• Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines.
• Support ACE activities (5s, TPM, Turnbacks, Clinics).
• Maintain LOT traceability and quality control.
• Continue training to welding certification requirements.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with standards.
• Comply with Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
