Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol, is offering an internship in Systems Engineering within a complex maintenance and retrofit environment. You will join a small, collaborative team working on Service Bulletins, installation drawings, and problem solving for UK topics such as Landing Gear and Wing structures.

The role expects you to study Aerospace/Mechanical/Systems Engineering with an inquisitive, analytical mindset and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in aerospace or engineering with an inquisitive mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Interest in the aerospace topics and industry.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical, project management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CAD/modelling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join a small, experienced team to support in-service aircraft work.
• Contribute to installation drawings and design solutions.
• Perform feasibility analyses and configuration management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge capture.
• Learn tools used across Airbus and broader industry.
