Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Quality Manager for an aerospace manufacturing client in Birmingham. You will lead a team of Quality Inspectors and collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Must have at least 5 years of leadership in aerospace quality, with hands-on experience in AS9100, AS9102 FAI and CAPA processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leading quality teams in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong background in machining/precision manufacturing.
• Experience with AS9100, AS9102 FAI and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality inspectors and manufacturing teams to ensure right-first-time output.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specs and customer requirements.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and drive CAPA actions.
• Conduct internal audits per AS9100 and support third-party audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and customers to resolve quality issues.
