Job summary

Safran is seeking an experienced Quality Leader to drive operational excellence in a highly regulated aerospace environment. You will lead a dedicated Quality team, shaping the quality strategy, and ensuring compliance with QMS/SMS and Part 21G across the value stream.

You will own investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver defect reduction and robust quality performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Quality teams in manufacturing/aerospace or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and regulatory requirements (AS9100, Part 21G).
• Experience managing non-conformances, investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Quality team and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement the operational Quality strategy; own KPIs and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with Part 21G, QMS, SMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead non-conformances, investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Drive quality improvements to reduce defects, concessions, waste and quality escapes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure conformity.
• Lead risk-based decision making and ensure controls across the product lifecycle.
• Lead internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, manufacturing process improvements and industrialisation.
