Job summary

TT Electronics is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet IPC-A-610/IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and regulatory requirements. You will inspect mechanical and electronic components, manage incoming and final inspections, and work closely with Engineering to resolve deviations.

Strong attention to detail, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration are essential. The role is on-site in Manchester with a focus on quality assurance within aerospace-related processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
• Experience in inspections/compliance within a heavily regulated environment.
• Attention to detail; clear reporting and communication.
• Familiarity with non-conformance processes (MRB) and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical and electronic components to meet specifications and standards.
• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections including customer returns.
• Review drawings, specs, and IPC standards for compliance.
• Identify deviations and collaborate with Engineering to rectify them.
• Document non-conformities and drive quality investigations and RCCA.
• Support RCCA and control of counterfeit components; communicate with Operations.
