Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Quality Inspector for an established aerospace manufacturer in Nottingham. You will perform first-off, in-process and final inspections to ensure components meet engineering drawings and customer standards.

The role involves using micrometers, verniers and gauges on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern covering days and nights, with a permanent contract in a manufacturing environment that demands precision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality Inspection role within manufacturing or aerospace.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Inspect components against drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Identify, record and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
• Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement and promote a right-first-time culture.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with company procedures and quality standards.
