Job summary

JT Recruit Ltd on behalf of our client in Loughborough seeks a Quality Operative to join the Quality & Inspection team. You will perform 100% visual and dimensional inspection and ensure components meet drawings and quality standards before production release.

The role requires aerospace inspection experience in an AS9100 environment, with a Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 and Friday 07:00-13:00 pattern, offering a 13:00 finish on Fridays and potential for permanent contract after probation.

Qualifications

• Aerospace quality or inspection experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Component inspection of machined parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Support quality manager with inspection records and documentation.
• Investigate non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis.
• Ensure AS9100 compliance in inspection activities.
