Job summary

ASC Connections is seeking a Quality Engineer in Harrogate to join a precision manufacturing business supplying components to the aerospace sector. You will manage non-conformances, maintain the QMS, support NPI, and drive improvements in product and process quality.

The role involves auditing to AS9100/customer requirements, supplier and internal audits, and collaboration with customers, suppliers and production teams to resolve issues. A pathway to progression is highlighted in the package.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer or similar role.
• Experience within aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Internal auditing experience, ideally with AS9100 or IATF 16949.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and audit the QMS in line with AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances, customer returns and concessions through to resolution.
• Support NPI through APQP, PPAP submissions, FMEAs and control plans.
• Complete internal, supplier and special process audits, including NADCAP activities.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, production and inspection teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor quality performance and drive improvements via 8D and process capability analysis.
