Job summary

Unipart in the UK seeks a Project Delivery Manager for a six-month fixed-term contract at our Chester-area facility. You will drive logistics initiatives from concept to delivery, leading client changes and internal supply chain improvements on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on operation, on-site presence, and the ability to manage aerospace risk profiles, timelines, and cost models. Salary around £50,000 plus car allowance and a strong benefits package.

• Confident influencer with ability to build strategic relationships.
• Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Define project boundaries, budgets, and material handling requirements.
• Build timelines and delivery schedules with operational teams.
• Lead on-site execution from the warehouse floor as a change agent.
• Track compliance, conduct reviews, and handover to BAU.
• Spend significant time on-site addressing live production and logistics challenges.
• Develop master project plans and provide status updates to leaders and clients.
• Collaborate with Commercial Manager to evaluate Change Requests.
• Validate cost models and tactical timing plans.
• Provide data to inform formal client quotes.
