Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Procurement professional to support sourcing, RFQ activities and PO placement for aerospace components. You will coordinate requisitions, maintain supplier documentation, and monitor performance metrics across key suppliers, working closely with Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance.

The role requires knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure within an engineering environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (A-C).
• Business or engineering degree preferred. CIPS/CPSM advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing and RFQ activities for new products and services.
• Review requisitions and support timely PO placement.
• Support placement of Purchase Orders in line with policy and DOAs.
• Lead vendor communication on order status, discrepancies, and claims.
• Collate and report key purchasing metrics (OTD, cost savings).
• Work with Supply Chain Manager on MRP requirements and shortages.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Support Capital Parts purchasing requirements and supplier approvals.
• Maintain quality documentation for approved suppliers.
• Assist Finance with invoice queries and support.
• Provide cover for other Supply Chain members and bids/tenders.
