Job summary

Supertemps Limited is seeking an Aerospace Plater to perform electroplating on aerospace components to set specifications, using software-controlled rectifiers and plating baths. You will monitor baths and report issues to ensure high-quality finishes.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00, with an initial training/probation period that may adjust hours. The starting pay is £13.21 per hour plus holiday pay, with a shift premium after probation.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence working with technical instructions and data.
• Ability to use software and digital systems.
• Awareness of Health & Safety and safe chemical handling.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Operating plating equipment and following work instructions.
• Monitoring baths, rectifiers and process settings.
• Recording data and reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensuring quality standards and safe working practices.
• Supporting bath maintenance and keeping the work area organised.
