Job summary

HRGO Recruitment represents a growth-focused aerospace precision engineering company in Basildon seeking an NPI Manager. You will lead New Product Introduction programmes from quotation through to full production release for high-integrity CNC machining parts.

Essential qualifications include an engineering degree (or equivalent) with proven NPI leadership, strong interpretation of drawings, and stakeholder management. The role is permanent and site-based in the UK.

Qualifications

Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
Proven NPI/industrialisation leadership in CNC manufacturing.
Ability to interpret drawings/specifications for manufacture.
Confident communicator with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI projects from quotation to production release.
Act as main technical contact during NPI lifecycle.
Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Supply Chain.
Translate customer drawings into manufacturing methods and production documentation.
Provide technical input into quotations (manufacturing approach, cost drivers, methods, estimates).
Support capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure delivery against plan.
Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors to meet requirements for materials and treatments.
Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, quality and supply-chain risks.
