Saab UK is seeking a talented modeller/engineer to join the Air Combat Simulation team. You will develop and validate models of aircraft and systems, generate analysis tools, and support distributed simulations with rigorous verification.

You will work on translating data formats, integrating toolchains, and delivering documented results to meet customer requirements. UK-wide opportunities and clearances are part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow for modelling.
• Proficiency in C/C++, C#, or Delphi for auto-coding and DLL generation.
• Experience with flight dynamics and sensor modelling.
• Knowledge of Earth coordinate systems (WGS-84).
• Experience with distributed simulation standards (DIS/HLA) and Git.

Aufgaben

• Deliver modelling and simulation support, developing requirements from customer briefs.
• Build models and analysis tools to meet customer requirements.
• Update, debug and V&V models and simulation tools.
• Analyse results from model integration and simulation development.
• Develop and maintain tools for data format translations.
• Develop Simulink models and auto-code to C/C++ and DLL.
• Integrate models (Simulink and DLL) into System-of-Systems models.
• Conduct simulation development, testing and results analysis.
• Develop and test models for distributed simulations integration.
• Extend distributed simulation capabilities and functionality.
• Sanity-check model performance and results against requirements.
• Review documentation for accuracy and quality.
• Investigate modelling tools to support new customer requirements.
• Generate end-user documentation for models and simulations.
