Job summary

Leonardo UK Helicopter Division offers a 2-year Aerospace Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme designed to develop you into a technically or commercially capable professional. You will rotate across the Engineering department on 3–6 month periods and work on real projects with world‑leading specialists, starting with a salary and a £1,000 welcome bonus.

On joining, you’ll be expected to spend four days a week on site to maximise your learning experience, with a focus on training, security

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace-related subject.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo BPSS/National Security Vetting.

Responsibilities

• Induction into Leonardo and an Engineering-specific induction to set scheme requirements.
• Rotate every 3–6 months across the Engineering department, with possible external placements.
• Develop engineering solutions, perform simulations, modelling, testing and assessments to meet customer requirements.
• Assist with development of new technologies, methods and procedures for business benefit.
