ALTEN in Derby is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our aerospace propulsion projects. You will develop MBSE models using Capella, define system architectures, and ensure traceability between requirements, functions, architectures and designs throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will support architecture reviews, DFMEA activities, and design assurance, while growing your MBSE expertise in a role that combines hands-on modelling with collaboration and

Qualifications

• Hands-on MBSE experience
• Capella modelling experience
• Strong system architecture understanding
• Experience with functional analysis and decomposition
• Knowledge of requirements allocation and traceability
• Experience in lifecycle processes of systems engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE models using Capella for complex aerospace systems
• Create and mature System and Logical Architectures within MBSE
• Perform functional analysis and functional decomposition
• Define functions, interfaces, and components in Capella
• Maintain relationships between requirements, functions, and interfaces
• Support development of PSRD and PSDD requirements and traceability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define interfaces
• Support architecture reviews and DFMEA activities
