Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer in Wolverhampton for a leading aerospace organisation. You will support daily production, liaise with suppliers and customers, and participate in process improvements. The role requires flexibility for occasional tasks outside normal remit and hours; start ASAP for a 6-month contract with potential extension.

Shifts are rotating: early and late, with 37 hours per week. Experience in PFMEA/PPAP, SIPOC, and Teamcenter PLM is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficient in 2D/3D modelling and drafting.
• Comfortable challenging existing methods and proposing improvements.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to standards.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM.

Responsibilities

• Approve drawings and provide essential production support.
• Control tooling, test fittings, and fixtures.
• Conduct nonconformance analysis.
• Create and update BOMs and job routes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and operation workbooks.
• Support New Product Introductions as applicable.
• Perform PFMEA and PPAP.
• Manage production readiness and RRCA.
• Implement process improvements and conduct controlled builds.
• Create SIPOC models and robustness tools.
• Coordinate quality corrective actions and optimise production costs.
• Assist with CORE Tools and Lean activities.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S regulations.
