Job summary
Magellan Aerospace Corporation, based in Llay Wrexham, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen our machining, metal treatment and assembly capabilities. The role focuses on developing and implementing efficient, safe processes and documentation to support production while collaborating with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
You will drive continuous improvement, support New Product Introduction, and help reduce waste, lead times and costs across the site, while upholding
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Over 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience with aerospace product industrialisation.
- Experience with machining, metal treatments and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of CAD and 3D modelling.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes across the site.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to Production and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain SOPs, process routes and documentation.
- Support NPI activities with feasibility assessments and tooling development.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times, scrap and costs.
