Job summary

Guidant Global, on behalf of Airbus, seeks a Logistics Controller to join the Filton team in Bristol. This part-time role (20 hours/week) supports international supply chain activities and customs compliance, reporting into operations and logistics partners.

You will coordinate transport, manage shipping docs and assist with process improvements in a world‑renowned aerospace environment.

Qualifications

Experience within logistics, shipping, freight forwarding or transport operations.
Understanding of international trade compliance and shipping documentation.
Knowledge of customs processes, commodity codes, country of origin and import/export requirements.
Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the end-to-end movement of domestic and international shipments through approved logistics providers.
Monitor transport activities to ensure timely, efficient and cost-effective delivery.
Work collaboratively with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve delays and operational issues.
Support the optimisation of logistics processes and transport flows.
Prepare and manage shipping documentation; ensure accurate customs data; liaise with Airbus Customs.
