Job summary

Intertek in Bristol is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our NDT team. You will support quality control of gas turbine engine components in a highly technical laboratory, carrying out testing and inspection activities on turbine parts and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Science or Engineering preferred, but not essential.
• Hands-on practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test turbine components to determine flow rates and report results.
• Assess using specially designed rigs.
• Apply problem-solving to resolve geometry and rig-design issues.
• Role is based within a client team managing workloads and tasks.
• Collaborate with the client and Intertek colleagues in a small team.
