Job summary

Flitetec Ltd in Amersham is seeking Assembly Operatives to join our team. You will assemble aircraft interior components using polycarbonate, metals and composites, working to precise drawings and instructions to ensure high quality.

The role is full-time (38 hours/week) with a starting rate of £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.61 after probation. Benefits include generous holiday allowance, onsite parking, health insurance, and a discretionary bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow work instructions and drawings.
• Experience in assembly of manufactured components is beneficial.
• Aerospace interiors assembly experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Bonding and assembly of plastic aircraft interior products to drawings and times.
• Prepare and assemble composite components.
• Repair and overhaul damaged parts.
• Visually inspect and self-certify finished products.
• Follow lean manufacturing practices and participate in SQCDP meetings.
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
