Job description

We are seeking an Aerospace Inspection Dept Supervisor to join our team! Stein Seal is a high-tech seal manufacturer serving aerospace and nuclear industries. The product is largely recession proof and not easily affected by economy and politics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule and assign work to staff
  2. Review reported findings of the Inspection team for processing and suggest improvements to methodology
  3. Ensure 5S, FOD, and Inspection standards are followed
  4. Ensure departmental record keeping requirements are met per customer requirements
  5. Mentor, train, and interact daily with staff to solve problems
  6. Perform routine training of staff to comply with AS standards

Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisor experience required
  • Previous work experience in quality control
  • Strong attention to detail
  • CMM experience necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong GD&T knowledge with emphasis on blueprint reading
  • Working knowledge of general machining processes
