Job summary

Safran Engineering Services UK Limited in Pitstone is recruiting an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer for an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will drive process improvements, support APQP implementation, and work with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

You will lead continuous improvement, analyze processes, and provide technical support while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality engineering or industrial engineering role, preferably aerospace or related field.
• Strong APQP knowledge and ability to lead APQP activities from design to production.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams and mentoring trainees.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify improvements and implement changes.
• Design, evaluate, and optimize workflows and layouts.
• Coordinate APQP from product design through production and delivery.
• Provide technical support to production teams and manage tooling requirements.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and monitor KPIs for performance.
