Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking a First Article Inspector to lead inspection of the first production run for aerospace components. You will review FAI reports, inspect articles against drawings, and ensure conformance to AS9100/QMS requirements.

Strong regulatory reading ability and problem-solving skills are essential. The role requires 3–5 years in aerospace inspection, including FAI, with certification and tools proficiency.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years in aerospace quality inspection, with FAI experience.
• Familiar with AS9100/AS9102 and UKCAA/EASA/FAA regulations.
• Experience with 21 CFR Part 21 145 type regulations reading a plus?
• Recent use of A3 or 8D problem solving methods.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Review FAI reports per AS9102 and QMS for internal and supplier parts.
• Inspect first articles against drawings, specs and process requirements.
• Document findings and prepare inspection reports.
• Review technical documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure certs and quality docs are in place prior to inspection.
• Use precision tools to measure and test dimensions.
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100 and related regulations.
