Job summary

Morson Talent is recruiting for Skilled Fabricators to work at GKNAF, Filton. The role requires an apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 and BPSS clearance.

Candidates will operate hand, electrical and pneumatic tools to shape metal parts to drawings, with a focus on right‑first‑time quality and safe work practices. Shifts include 7‑day fort day and standard days; travel/ accommodations may be provided for long distances.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and limits.
• Experience in a factory/manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to adhere to quality procedures (ISO 9001/AS/EN9100).

Responsibilities

• Shape, form and assemble metal parts to drawing limits using hand, electrical and pneumatic tools.
• Work with thin plate materials (often <3mm) and ensure right-first-time production.
• Ensure calibrated equipment is within date and maintained.
• Support SAP-based workflow for production steps and QA checks.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety requirements per GKNAF procedures.
