Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design complex, multi-layer PCBs for aerospace applications, with a focus on high-speed embedded systems including PCIe and Ethernet. This hybrid role requires ownership of the electronic hardware lifecycle—from schematic capture and PCB layout decisions to signal integrity, grounding, EMC and board reliability.

• Commercial electronics or hardware engineering experience.
• Experience with multi-layer PCBs and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet).
• Hybrid role requiring in-office Stevenage presence and collaboration with firmware/mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own electronic hardware development lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.
• Schematic capture and oversee PCB layout decisions; ensure signal integrity and EMC performance.
• Hands-on lab work: bring-up, debugging, verification and qualification testing.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams; contribute to design reviews and production support.
