Placements24 is seeking a proficient Aerospace Electrical Technician to join their team in East London. The role involves installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of aircraft electrical systems to ensure reliable power distribution, lighting, and avionics wiring.

You will work with diagnostic tools, interpret schematics and maintenance manuals, and document all work while adhering to strict aviation safety standards. A strong commitment to quality and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Aerospace Electrical Technician.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, including power generation and avionics wiring.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, specialized testers).
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Relevant technical certification or trade qualification in electrical engineering or avionics.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality in an aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aircraft electrical systems, wiring, and components per specifications and diagrams.
• Perform diagnostic tests to identify faults and determine necessary repairs.
• Use a variety of electrical test equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals accurately.
• Document all work performed, including tests, parts replaced, and labour hours.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, company procedures, and aviation regulatory standards.
