A pioneering aerospace business in the Greater Bristol Area is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a 6-month contract. Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in aerospace or advanced engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and electrical system integration.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards, certification processes, and compliance requirements.
• Confident communicator able to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical design solutions across low-voltage and high-voltage power distribution systems.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration into complex aerospace platforms.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, certification requirements, and safety regulations.
• Support prototype build, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
