Aerospace Disassembly Technician

Responsibilities:
- Disassemble customer landing gears to a high standard without causing damage.
- Work with the team to meet department deadlines.
- Prepare parts for next operations ensuring correct identification and damage prevention.
- Disassemble customer landing gears according to manufacturer instructions (CMM).
- Avoid additional damage and communicate improvements to tooling and processes.
- Work under tight deadlines.
- Manage personal and company tools.
- Understand and utilize computer-based MOE (IQMove).
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Report damages to team leaders for investigation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Perform inspections for missing or damaged components.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Equivalent to GCSE A-C grades.
- Experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly or apprenticeship is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hand tools, PPE, overhead cranes, and forklifts preferred.
- Experience in aerospace environment is a plus.
- Team player, good communicator, punctual, reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and absorb working methods.
- Strong commitment to quality, health, and safety.
- Good manual dexterity.
Working Conditions:
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Contact with greases and oils.
- Training and use of overhead cranes.

- Mandatory training provided.
- Prolonged standing, lifting heavy components, and working with large aircraft parts required.
