GKN Aerospace Global Technology Centre in Bristol is offering year-in-industry placements in the digital and simulation cluster. Start August/September 2027 for a 12-month industrial placement, with real projects contributing to aerospace innovations.

Qualifications

• Must be studying towards an undergraduate degree in any computer science related discipline.
• Experience with writing code.

Responsibilities

• Placements in the GKN digital and simulation technology cluster to develop knowledge and skills in digital and AI processes.
• Develop digital technologies such as factory simulation, machine data handling and analytics and AI technologies.
• Spend the bulk of time at the GTC developing digital technologies in a test environment before roll out.
