Job summary

Synergize Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Contracts Manager for Aerospace & Defence in a hybrid role based in Luton, with 1-2 days on-site. You will oversee multiple contracts and bid activities, ensuring compliant commercial outcomes. SC clearance is essential.

You will draft and negotiate complex terms, develop pricing strategies, manage risks, and report to senior stakeholders across UK and international programmes.

Qualifications

• SC clearance required for the role.
• Experience working with UK Government and international contracts.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage commercial risk.
• Strong grasp of profit, margin, and foreign exchange.
• Knowledge of export legislation and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical commercial oversight across contracts and bid activities.
• Draft, negotiate and administer complex terms with procurement input.
• Develop commercial strategies to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Develop accurate customer pricing using appropriate models.
• Lead preparation of commercial correspondence and approvals.
• Review NDAs, licensing agreements and MOUs.
• Provide leadership and contract administration across projects.
• Manage changes and mitigate commercial risk.
• Prepare customer proposals and bid documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant processes and governance.
