Job summary

Greenjets, a UK-based engineering company, seeks an Aircraft Design Engineer to shape early-stage aircraft concepts, overall configuration and airframe layouts.

You will use CFD and analytical tools to guide designs, assess trade-offs, and collaborate with propulsion engineers to ensure airframe–engine integration. Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and aircraft performance.
• Experience with CFD tools and aerodynamic analysis methods.
• Ability to work at the concept and systems level.

Responsibilities

• Develop aircraft concepts from initial requirements and mission profiles.
• Define airframe layouts, configurations and aerodynamic surfaces.
• Perform aerodynamic analysis using CFD and analytical methods.
• Assess performance trade-offs including weight, drag, stability and efficiency.
• Support early structural and systems integration considerations.
• Collaborate with mechanical design and development teams to ensure concepts are feasible.
• Refine designs based on test data and iteration feedback.
