Job summary

Safran Seats GB in Newport is seeking a Compliance Monitoring Engineer to maintain the Quality Management System for the Repair Station, ensuring compliance with EASA/UK CAA Part 145 and EN9100.

You will lead internal and external audits, drive quality improvements, liaise with regulatory bodies and customers, and support training within the Aftermarket Quality Team. Hybrid role with travel as needed across UK and international.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
• Quality background with experience in MRO (P145), Aviation Safety (SMS) and Human Factors.
• Ability to communicate with external stakeholders and internal teams in a complex, multicultural environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for customer and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance to AS9100 and EASA 145.
• Protect customers from non-quality by ensuring repaired products and practices meet regulations and Safran standards.
• Develop safety culture and SMS maturity within the Repair Station.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and feedback; support the repair station.
