Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a CMM Programmer for its Warton site on a 12-month contract. The role is full-time and on-site, with BPSS clearance in progress and Inside IR35 conditions.

The candidate should have an engineering degree or equivalent, plus extensive experience with CATIA V5, NX, and related engineering toolsets. Key duties include applying manufacturing engineering principles to machining, managing development activities, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an HNC or recognised apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Experience in machining-related manufacturing processes.
• GD&T proficiency in line with ISO/ASME standards.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5, NX, PLM, SAP CAM, SFM, CDP and VAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining-related manufacturing tasks aligned with role level.
• Demonstrate development and implementation management within constraints.
• Manage projects within cost and schedule boundaries.
• Respond to unplanned events and meet tight deadlines.
