Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd is seeking a skilled CMM Inspector in Leicestershire to join its aerospace quality team. You will inspect precision components using CMM and manual methods, ensuring compliance with customer and company standards.

The role is permanent with a day shift rotating pattern, offering exposure to complex aerospace parts and opportunities for continuous improvement and NPI support.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have previous CMM inspection experience within precision engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake CMM, manual, visual and final inspections
• Evaluate CMM data and make accurate inspection decisions
• Use hard gauges, DTIs and other manual inspection equipment
• Complete first-off, patrol and final inspections
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Develop and improve CMM inspection methods
• Support New Product Introduction projects
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
• Report non-conformances and liaise with production and quality teams
• Support 5S, Lean and continuous improvement activities
