Job summary

GE Aerospace, Dowty facility in Gloucestershire, invites applicants for a four-year Calibration Apprenticeship. You will train in calibration of aerospace instruments, gain hands-on experience, attend college, and progress toward Calibration Technician status with EPA milestones.

The program combines in-house tasks, college learning at GET Engineering Training, and online components with Teeside University, preparing you for a career in precision aerospace metrology.

Qualifications

• Essential: Achieved, or predicted, 4x GCSEs including Maths and English at C/4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Planned Calibration & Maintenance: perform scheduled calibration and Planned Preventative Maintenance on production equipment and instruments.
