Job summary

ReeVR is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our specialist engineering team working on complex aerospace projects. You will produce CAD models and detailed drawings, and support mechanical design solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

You should have at least 18 months' industry experience and a degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. The role offers full training on internal systems, a proactive team environment, and clear opportunities for technical development and

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• At least 18 months' industry experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role.
• Experience using 3D CAD to produce models and drawings.
• Interest in aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering documentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive team player with good communication and a willingness to learn.
• Keen to develop technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
• Support the development of mechanical design solutions for complex aerospace projects.
• Assist with design verification and ensure engineering documentation meets requirements.
• Review technical information, drawings and specifications to support project delivery.
• Liaise with customers, subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
• Contribute to design reviews, problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
