Job summary

AWD online in Liverpool is seeking a Production Operative / Process Operator for a specialist aerospace manufacturing environment. You will be trained to set up and operate anodising lines and chemical treatment processes, contributing to safety, accuracy and quality.

No prior anodising experience is required as training is provided; we welcome applicants from manufacturing roles and offer a stable full-time permanent position with a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to understand and follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Good attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Able to work safely with chemicals and follow COSHH and PPE requirements.
• Good manual handling skills and protect customer components from damage.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate anodising lines safely and efficiently per instructions.
• Process aerospace components through anodising and chemical conversion coating processes.
• Follow job documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and aerospace standards.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records in a timely manner.
• Carry out quality checks and report defects or non-conformances promptly.
