Job summary

MBDA is offering an Aerodynamics Engineer undergraduate placement in Bristol with on-site work most days due to security considerations, and limited remote work where possible. The role provides mentorship from specialist aerodynamicists and exposure to MBDA UK's portfolio across concept to in-service support.

You will gain experience in using tools alongside commercial software to evaluate airframes and learn missile design across development stages, with potential for a graduate role.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in Aerospace engineering, Aeronautical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Production/Manufacturing engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
• Aerodynamics and propulsion based modules are most relevant to this role.

Responsibilities

• Apply bespoke tools and commercial software to evaluate airframe performance.
• Assist in design of missiles across concept, assessment and development stages.
• Learn about stealth, propulsion, thermal and structural aspects of missile design.
