Job summary

Future plc's growing engineering team in the United Kingdom is seeking aerodynamics engineers at junior and senior levels, offering genuine ownership of aerodynamic design and analysis as the business scales.

You'll work on aerodynamic design, analysis, and optimisation of aircraft and airframe systems using CFD and wind tunnel data, collaborating closely with mechanical, structures, and systems engineers in a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Background in aerodynamics, ideally in aerospace, UAV/UAS, motorsport or other performance critical engineering environments.
• Strong working knowledge of CFD tools and methods, with ability to translate analysis into practical design input.
• Experience with wind tunnel testing or flight test data analysis is a strong plus.
• Fast learner comfortable working across disciplines in a small team, often the primary aero voice in the room.

Responsibilities

• Aerodynamic design, analysis, and optimisation of aircraft and airframe systems using CFD and analytical methods.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, structures, and systems engineering colleagues and take designs from concept through to test and validation.
