Job summary

Future Talent Group is seeking aerodynamics engineers at junior and senior levels to join a growing engineering team. You’ll own aerodynamic design and analysis, shaping performance as the business scales in a fast-moving, small-team environment.

You’ll work on CAD/CFD workflows, wind tunnel data, and test validation across concept to flight readiness, collaborating with ME, structures, and systems engineers.

Qualifications

• Background in aerodynamics, preferably aerospace, UAV/UAS, motorsport or similar
• Strong working knowledge of CFD tools and methods, translating analysis into practical design input
• Experience with wind tunnel testing or flight test data analysis is a plus
• Fast learner, capable of working across disciplines in a small team

Job description

A growing engineering team are looking for aerodynamics engineers to join at both junior and senior level, with real scope to shape how future platforms perform as the business scales.

This is a chance to take genuine ownership of aerodynamic design and analysis in a small, fast moving engineering environment, working closely with the wider engineering team rather than being one voice in a large department.

What you'll be doing

You'll be involved in the aerodynamic design, analysis, and optimisation of aircraft and airframe systems, using CFD and analytical methods to inform design decisions and validate performance. Expect close collaboration with mechanical, structures, and systems engineering colleagues, and a hands on role in taking designs from concept through to test and validation.

What we're looking for

• A background in aerodynamics, ideally within aerospace, UAV/UAS, motorsport, or another performance critical engineering environment
• Strong working knowledge of CFD tools and methods, with the ability to translate analysis into practical design input
• Experience with wind tunnel testing or flight test data analysis is a strong plus
• A fast learner comfortable working across disciplines in a small team, where you'll often be the primary aero voice in the room
