Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking an Aerodynamics Project Leader to take the technical lead of a team of engineers and own aerodynamic development from concept through to track validation.

In this hands-on role you will set directions for projects, balance CFD, wind tunnel resources and manufacturing lead times with the race calendar, and develop engineers while encouraging open challenge and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in F1 aerodynamic development across lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead complex aero projects from concept to track.
• Strong CFD and wind tunnel analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead aero development from concept to track, turning targets into clear objectives.
• Plan and run wind tunnel and CFD tests, analyse results and adapt course.
• Coordinate with Design Office, Structures and Manufacturing to protect aero intent.
• Coach engineers and lead post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Drive releases with cross-functional teams within race calendar constraints.
