Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking an experienced Aerodynamics Project Leader to drive the technical direction of a sprint-paced engineering group. You will own aero development from concept through to track validation, balancing CFD, wind tunnel time, and manufacturing constraints to deliver a competitive car.

You will coach engineers, lead cross-functional collaboration with Design Office, Structures, Composites and Manufacturing, and ensure aero intent is preserved under cost cap and regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in F1 aerodynamic development.
• Experience leading aero projects from concept to track.
• Proficient with CFD and wind tunnel data correlation.
• Strong CAD skills, NX preferred.
• Ability to manage limited resources under cost cap.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept generation and direct CFD exploration with evidence-based decisions.
• Plan and run wind tunnel tests and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Design Office, Structures, Composites and Manufacturing.
• Coach and empower engineers while driving continuous improvement.
