The HiLACC Flight Sciences team is a direct extension of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (*BCA*) Flight Sciences team in the USA.The role on offer is for a 3-month summer Aerodynamics Engineering Intern to start in June/July 2027 supporting BCA Flight Sciences work at the HiLACC. Find your future with us!**Position Responsibilities:*** Understand the array of predictive capabilities utilised in the aerodynamic design of aeroplanes.* Assist in some of the research and development projects ongoing at the HiLACC which may include: + Supporting the development of robust tools for CFD workflows + High-lift characteristics + Flow physics + Aircraft wake analysis + Wind tunnel data interpretation* Learn and start to utilise predictive capabilities such as CFD to understand flow phenomena in aeroplane design and wind tunnel testing.* Shadow and assist work in the development of geometry and analysis tools aligned with model based engineering.* Actively participate in group meetings and technical discussions.* Understand the need for wind tunnel testing and provide some support for any ongoing tests and the related data analysis.Due to the nature of the role and HiLACC team, the role is primarily based onsite.
