Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern in Europe; and Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. The Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations, supported by the UK.

Your mission

  • Participate in all aspects of race car aerodynamic development, from initial ideas and design to analysis through numerical and experimental simulations.
  • Contribute effectively to complex aerodynamics projects, working closely with aerodynamicists, CFD engineers, and Aero designers to enhance the race car's performance.
  • Help develop a culture of continuous improvement in all areas.
  • Maintain a keen desire to improve your technical skills and knowledge of race car aerodynamics.

Your profile

  • Strong educational background in aerodynamics, with a degree in engineering focusing on aerodynamics or fluid mechanics.
  • Experience in planning and organizing aerodynamic projects against targets, collaborating with other Group Leaders.
  • Proficient in CFD and 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA 3DX).
  • Technical understanding of CFD and wind tunnel testing, with some experience in running wind tunnel programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high work ethic.
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects and meet performance targets within strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a small team.
  • Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented, and able to work independently with flexible hours.
  • A team player with initiative, capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Open to learning and sharing knowledge with others.
