Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in the UK is offering an Aero Simulation and Correlation Student Placement for a penultimate-year engineering student. You will assist engineers in correlation and simulation projects, contributing to aero development and data-driven decisions.

The role involves developing data analysis workflows, collaborating with design and performance teams, and applying insights to future race car performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an engineering degree in a relevant field and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and aerodynamic principles.
• Familiarity with wind tunnel methods and CFD is beneficial.
• Experience in scientific programming, data visualization and statistical analysis.
• Interest in motorsport and a proactive, analytical mindset.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.
• Available for onsite assessment in September.
